Ken Schrader to Race EHR APC #3

SCHRADER TO PILOT ED HAKONSON RACING

NASCAR PINTY’S SERIES #3 AT OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY

 

 London Ontario – August 10, 2022- NASCAR legend and racing icon, Ken Schrader, will pilot the #3 Ed Hakonson Racing Chevrolet entry in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series inaugural dirt event at Ohsweken Speedway on Tuesday, August 16th.

 

   With backing from APC Auto Parts Centres, CANUSA Automotive Warehousing Inc., and Miami Muscle, Schrader will be looking to drive to the front in the #3 originally made famous in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series by 2020 Series Champion Jason Hathaway.

 

    Ken Schrader’s passion for motorsports has been well documented throughout his 40+ years of racing. Starting at barely 16, Schrader has made it a lifelong goal to race as often as possible and in as many classes of race cars as possible.

 

    “It is always exciting to have the APC logo and colours on display at a racing event, but when you can have an icon like Ken Schrader representing the brand it makes it that much more special”, stated APC Marketing Manager Corinne Mallough.

 

   An icon within the motorsport’s community, Schrader has driven every kind of race car – late models, modifieds, sports cars, sprint cars, Indy cars and stock cars.  His many “roles” in racing include driver, team owner, author, radio and TV commentator, spotter, race track promoter, and mentor.  Schrader has driven at NASCAR’s highest level - the Cup Series- for 30 seasons before retiring in 2013 at Miami-Homestead Speedway.
