It isn’t every day that the chance comes around to have your corporate branding associated with one of the year’s biggest events in short track racing. When it does, smart marketers jump at the opportunity.
Even with Peterborough Speedway’s 2023 schedule slated for a Saturday, May 20th kick-off, it’s the track’s season-ending marquee event that is gathering headlines. The promotional team at Canada’s Toughest 3rd Mile Oval has confirmed that the Autumn Colours Classic will carry sponsorship from APC Auto Parts Centres.
“We’re happy to fly the APC Auto Parts Centres banner as part of our marketing family,” said track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse. “The APC brand has been a strong component on the weekly racing scene for several years and we’re thrilled to have them be a part of our 3-day showcase spectacular, starting with this year’s 30th anniversary edition.”
Alex Nagy, the Director of Motorsports for APC mentions, “I understand that J.P. and his team have a lot of things going-on to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this historic event, so for us to get involved is very exciting.”
With close to 60 locations across Southern and Central Ontario, the APC Auto Parts Centres brand has become a familiar name with Peterborough Speedway fans. Automotive dealerships, repair shops and even shade-tree mechanics have come to depend on the APC professionals for quality products and helpful advice. All locations carry the name brands of the automotive industry, supplying product coverage and availability. Throughout their warehousing division, all stores are serviced twice daily, giving customers unique access to hard-to-find parts.
